Course Summary
Banksman Training
This 3-hour course provides essential skills for safely directing vehicles and machinery on-site. Participants will learn effective communication techniques, hand signals, and safe practices for managing site traffic, ensuring safe movement of vehicles and preventing accidents.





Course Contents
Role and responsibilities of a Banksman
Safe use of hand signals and communication
Vehicle and pedestrian safety
Risk assessment and hazard identification
Emergency procedures

Assessment
Assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a multiple choice question paper.
Duration
The course requires a minimum of 3 hours, distributed over the day.Â

Certification Validity
This qualification has no formal expiry, however regular CPD and updates are recommended.



Further Information - Course Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
Assessment method: Activities, test paper.
