Course Summary
Confined Spaces Training
This 3-hour course provides essential knowledge for safely working in confined spaces. Participants will learn how to identify hazards, implement safety measures, and follow emergency procedures to ensure the safety of personnel working in restricted environments.
Course Contents
Identifying and assessing confined space hazards
Legal requirements and safe work practices
Entry and exit procedures
Use of PPE and equipment
Emergency procedures and rescue plans
Assessment
Assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a multiple choice question paper.
Duration
The course requires a minimum of 3 hours, distributed over the day.
Certification Validity
This qualification has no formal expiry, however regular CPD and updates are recommended.
Further Information - Course Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
