Evacuation Chair Training – Site-Specific Practical (Half a Day) This tailored course provides comprehensive training on the safe use of evacuation chairs, customised to your site’s layout and requirements. Participants will gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to confidently assist in the evacuation of individuals with mobility challenges during emergencies.

Legal requirements and responsibilities
Practical training in chair operation and handling
Site-specific evacuation planning and procedures
Emergency response and safety considerations

Assessment
Practical demonstration of using the Evacuation chair on some stairs.
Duration
The course requires a minimum of 3 hours, distributed over 1 day. While it is ideal to complete the course in one day, we can adjust the schedule to suit your specific needs.

Certification Validity
This qualification has no formal expiry, however regular CPD and updates are recommended.



Further Information - Course Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
