Course Summary

FAA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) + Hockey First Aid

Candidates successfully completing this course will be entitled to act as a first aiders. This Emergency First Aid at Work is combiened with our Field Hockey add-on, which enhaces the regulated qualification to add sport specific accidents.

Additional modules include the management of head injuries, concussion recognition and management, astroturf burns, pitch-side trauma, as well as practical taping and splinting techniques.

We can deliver the course directly at your club for groups of up to 12 candidates. Alternatively, hosting a course and opening places to nearby clubs is a great opportunity to build connections within the local hockey community. This course can be delivered midweek, at weekends or split over two evenings.

All courses are delivered by experienced instructors who have played field hockey and understand the demands of the game, alongside the assessment and treatment of hockey-specific injuries.
