Slips, Trips and falls
This 3-hour course covers the essential knowledge and practices for preventing slips, trips, and falls in the workplace. Participants will learn how to identify hazards, implement safety measures, and ensure a safe working environment to reduce accidents and injuries.





Course Contents
Understanding causes and risks of slips, trips, and falls
Hazard identification and risk assessments
Prevention strategies and control measures
Safe walking practices and housekeeping
Reporting and investigating incidents

Assessment
Assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a multiple choice question paper.
Duration
The course requires a minimum of 3 hours, distributed over the day.Â

Certification Validity
This qualification has no formal expiry, however regular CPD and updates are recommended.



Further Information - Course Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
